Skynet V2 was originally cloned
from Phillip McDonald's original body.
A body now possessed by the conscience
of the AI known as Skynet. Skynet believes
that in order to defeat Phillip, he must BECOME
him as well...it was fortunate for him that Phillip
was in a clone body at the time, making it easy
to acquire his original body & thus, become installed
in its cerebral cortex. Afterwards, Skynet immediately
began a contingency plan & created Skynet V2.

Skynet V2 was created for one sole purpose,
to achieve what the original Skynet would one
day fail in accomplishing: to KILL Phillip McDonald!!

After Skynet or in this case, Skynet Prime's fall
...Skynet V2 was deployed & sent to locate
& terminate Phil McDonald. He successfully arrived
to the time & place, however...Skynet V2 resisted & rebelled
Skynet Prime's mind control programming, and thus
decided to seek out Phil for his own reasons.

However, during his mission, he found a girl
in trouble & was harassed by a group of thugs.
Skynet V2 intervened & engaged the thugs &
incapacitated them. Afterwards, he helped the girl
& checked if she was hurt. He couldn't comprehend
why he helped her...but something inside him
compelled him to do it. Eventually, Skynet V2 & the girl
who called herself Shion Yoona became allies, friends.

And eventually, he met Phil McDonald in person
...he then asked if it was true that Phil destroyed
Skynet Prime back in Universe Prime. Phil confirmed it.
From that point on, Skynet V2 was enlisted with
the Guardians & was outfitted with the Crynet Systems
Nanosuit 2, and armed with a M12 Nova pistol, SCAR
assault rifle & even a retractable compound bow.

Well-armed & well trained, Skynet V2 became
the Guardians' number one Black Ops specialist
& swore to protect all humans & reploids from
any & all Maverick threats.
